The Jody Litvack VLOG Experience.
Episode 5: Virtual Holiday Event. The Pandemic has certainly created challenges in the events Industry since the day it started. Countless hours spent creating the perfect experience and in the blink of an eye restrictions get put back into place and the event is forced to cancel.

This was the unfortunate case for our Incredible Family Holiday Event planned for December 23rd. It had it all, live bands, magic shows, interactive dance party, make your own “light up ugly Christmas sweater” station, LED Candy Cane TIK TOK tunnel, gingerbread house making stations and more.

Less than a week before the event, COVID reared it’s ugly head again forcing our client to cancel the event.

My team and I were not going to just let this event fall victim to this pandemic. So much time and money had already been spent. We quickly got together to work on a pivot and as you will see in VLOG 5, that’s exactly what we did.

I want to sincerely thank my entire team for what we pulled off to save this event from not happening. We put together a spectacular Mail-out program with DIY kits and the incredible crew & . Guests received these beautiful packages the day before the event in preparation for the live stream.

Worked tirelessly with .av to create a Virtual Interactive Variety Show and was still able to incorporate all of the originally hired talent from the live event .bounce

The moral is: Just cause restrictions get put into place doesn’t mean you have to flat out cancel your event. If there’s anything this pandemic has taught us it is how creative and resilient people can be. Don’t be afraid to pivot your core talents in different directions. You’ll be amazed at what you can actually accomplish in the face of challenge.
