I composed the piano melody based on a mix of Adele’s type of music, since there are lots of piano in her music. I had it sitting for a bit, I was looking for singer-songwriters to co-writer on the lyrics and I compose/produce the music. I then found a writer/singer and worked on a few projects before this one. She loved the piano and strings and got to writing. We hit up the studio after a week or so to record the song. After the song got mixed, it sat around for a while, issues with her being the main performer, so then I replaced her vocals and the song got done!

I had the instrumental produced just sitting there in my drive, and had written some lyrics, but left it aside. After a bit, I received and email from Tech House Market offering some free samples. As I scrolled through the files, I came across a Vocal Sample folder with a few different samples to explore. That’s when I listened to the 2 samples from 2 different folder, with a slight 1 BPM OFF from what I had produced initially. A few days later, I decided to make a Remix, adding a female vocal to make it the length of a song, instead of a sample song. Some minor editing and adjusting the tempo and that was it!
