This round hole is a nest for carpenter bee. Carpenter bees attack wood that is not painted.
This particular case is that the homeowner saw a lot of sawdust on the ground and he thought they were from carpenter ants damage. Our specialist looked at the sawdusts and they were right below those holes and on the plant leaves; right away he knew the damage was done by carpenter bees instead.
The treatment for carpenter bee is a lot less compared to carpenter ants. Do not spend money you don’t need to by having our experience licensed specialist to inspect for you🙌
