We bought a house 🏡

It’s been a big year for the Storey crew :)

So why did we buy a house in a market that been declining?

✅ It make sense to upsize now. Percentage wise, higher priced home have come down more in actual $$$.

✅ We wanted to be in a specific area/school district.

✅ Closer to friends + family

✅ The market won’t go down forever :) In fact, it may come back sooner than people expect.

Public speaking 🗣️

Legit, use to terrify me.

And I still get nerves 😬

Now I do it several times a month.

And speak on live TV almost weekly.

So, what’s changed? 🤷‍♂️

I get to talk about something I actually care about!

Long before I was paid to speak, I would do it for free to get my reps in.

And slowly, I got better and more comfortable.

I still have SO much to learn.

Big thanks to all the people who have given me the opportunity and the confidence to believe I could do it.

giving me my first opportunity in 2017 to speak in front of 800 realtors in Vancouver + allowing me to speak on stage at so many events!

I LOVE selling real estate and that will always be how I make my living, but the rush I get from speaking on a stage or doing live TV is hard to match 🚀
