14 years ago a woman was the unfortunate survivor of a motor vehicle accident that left her paralyzed from the neck down.

It took her lawyer and I nearly a year to get her insurance company to agree to pay for the cost of converting her 800 square foot 2 bedroom home to a 2,400 square foot fully wheelchair accessible home complete with an elevator, accessible entranceways, kitchen, bathroom and more.
