The path to becoming a licensed P.Eng. in Ontario can feel complex, but having the right guidance makes all the difference.
On March 25, we hosted the session “Clarifying the Path to Becoming a P.Eng. in Ontario” at the University of Toronto, bringing together students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals interested in advancing their licensing journey.
During the session, attendees gained insights into:
• How to apply for a P.Eng. licence
• Academic and experience requirements
• Application processing timelines
• The National Professional Practice Exam (NPPE)
• Competency-based assessment and the role of a validator
The event also included a Q&A session, creating space for meaningful discussion and shared experiences.
