The Gomez Family was inspired by one found in the sweet picture book “We Are Family” by Patricia Hegarty which celebrates the uniqueness and diversity of 10 different families.

I’ve gained a lot of new followers since posting my first ever reel (thanks for all the likes🥰) so I thought I should continue to be brave/vulnerable and do a 10 things about me for the first time, too! *GULP* here goes nothing.

➡️ I’ve been teaching for 22 years and have taught K, 1, 1/2, 2, 2/3, 3 as well as French Immersion K+2 and ESL🍎
➡️ 80s & 90s jams bring me joy🎶
➡️ I suffer from anxiety😥+ depression😔
➡️ I love to travel and have been to 21 countries (bucket list 🇮🇪🇮🇸🇬🇷🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿)
➡️ I’m O+ and donate blood🩸
➡️ I am a sucker for a good cookie🍪
➡️ I have zero athletic ability and root for the underdog📣
➡️ I used to live in Paris🇫🇷
➡️ I’m passionate about helping educators teach kids hard topics ie/ genitalia🍑 and residential schools🧡
➡️ I love to cross border shop and Target is my happy place🎯
