Sara Mainville is a lawyer and the Managing Partner at JFK Law, with decades of experience working with Indigenous communities. She has completed Advanced Negotiations training at Harvard University and is the former Chief of Couchiching First Nation. Her training and experience as a former Chief inform her work with Indigenous forms of dispute resolution and finding solutions to complex issues. This fall, she will co-chair The OsgoodePD Guide to Navigating Specific Claims alongside Alisa Lombard (Lombard Law).
Over two intensive days, participants will be guided through the lifecycle of a specific claim – gaining essential knowledge and practical strategies from initial research and submission through to post-settlement implementation.
