Yup! Crunches will not get you the coveted six-pack you're trying to get by summer time. Not only are they the least effective excercise in reducing belly fat, they do not strengthen your core as much as other workouts do. So let's experiment, shall we?
For the next week, complete 3 stomach vacuum exercises after waking up and before eating, and do 2-3 planks right before bed. This combo will get you a smaller waist, but more importantly, will strengthen your core and get you ready for other workouts, not to mention alleviating back pain.
