After a lifelong battle with mental illness Enza has taken her experience and created MI Etcetera. My promise remained unspoken for 20 years.

One of the hardest truths to accept is that not every ending stays open because it is complicated. Some endings stay open because openness protects the person who caused the damage. As long as nothing is fully named, nothing has to be fully owned. The mess keeps the focus on your confusion instead of their choices.

That is why your mind keeps going back. Not because you love chaos. Because part of you is still trying to finish something that was never meant to be finished with honesty. Still waiting for the conversation, the acknowledgment, the clean landing that would finally let it settle.

But closure is not finally getting them to complete what they left fractured. It is the moment you stop letting their avoidance keep shaping your inner life. The moment you accept that their refusal to face it does not make it less real - and does not get to decide how long you stay bound to it.
