6 months later, and I’m looking back with fondness and pride. Fondness of the memories this project fostered. Pride for how I moved from idea to ex*****on.

It started with a photoshoot. An idea I had to be surrounded with the “diary” pages of some of our greatest songwriters. For what is a love song but a diary for the world to hear?

Then we shot the visual EP. 1 video per song. All in a day’s work. Literally. Music is an all-encompassing experience, and what the ears can’t tell, the eyes can.

And then my friends continued to show up for me. From the guests to the band, the room was packed with love at the release party. I poured my heart as we poured drinks and celebrated what I had only imagined could ever be.

You see, this may be the last body of work I ever release.

There are so many stories to tell, so many emotions to channel through song, but everything outside of the music is noise.

I’m so proud of this body of work from feature to vocal to image to visual. I want people to really understand what goes into making a project that means something, to really spend time with the art, and to appreciate the creators who sacrifice so much to be compensated so little.

The landscape of the music industry is shifting, and not in favour of the artist. The idea that creators are expendable and a dime a dozen is flawed and destructive. We need to shift the narrative, one release at a time. But we can’t do it alone.

So thank you to every single person who has supported not only this latest body of work, but everything I have done creatively. From showing up to showering with love to shelling out some dough. It all means so very much to me. ♥️

If I can ask just one thing, it’s that you support your faves while they are still here, still creating. Let them know how much their art means while you still can.

And no, this ain’t goodbye. Just a reconfiguration of creative energy 🐦‍🔥
