Ok, this is the last photo of my photo-dump….i think 😬
This was a walnut cake with an espresso buttercream, caramel, and dark chocolates squares. My only regret is that I didn’t make another one for me to eat because the scrap was just not enough!
This special order was for someone’s 80th birthday. The flavour request was very specific as it’s the cake his late wife made him every year before her passing. I was truly honoured and humbled to be given this task, and so happy to hear that it was well loved and enjoyed by the birthday boy and all his family 🤎

I had a friend and their parents over for dinner a week ago and decided to make some Greek food.
DJ and I officially became friends in grade 9, but we met before then when our martial arts schools used to compete in tournaments. Almost 3 decades later, we are still great friends and still enjoy the company of each others parents ♥️ His parents adore me and my dad reminds him that he needs to make him more hot sauce 😂 It’s truly a wonderful friendship!

It’s been a minute since I’ve posted but I’m back, baby! 😘
Tonight’s dinner: Super Salad with Pork Schnitzel
The salad included: kale, chickpeas, red peppers, avocado, quinoa, cucumbers, pickled red onions (homemade), boiled eggs, green onions and feta, topped with a homemade Dijon dressing.
The kids loved it, Dom and I loved it, and we all left the table feeling satisfied and full!

Baking and cooking for people is my love language, so if you get goodies from me, know that you have a special place in my heart. This birthday cake went to a very special woman who I’m fortunate to have in my life.
