Lea Vivot is the artist behind the "The Joy of Life Bench" at St. Joseph's Health Centre and "The Endless Bench" at​

Vivot’s over life-sized bronze sculptures are figurative and often depict families, couples, mothers, children, and other subjects of humanity. Most of her sculptures include benches, which have become her trademark. Her sculptures, of people interacting together in public spaces, are particularly moving during this time and a beautiful permanent complement to show the ongoing appreciation of all these amazing healthcare heroes. ​⁣

floral artist worked with Vivot to create a living installation to complement the bench's eternal message of hope. We used 476 flowers to echo the 476 messages of love, hope, and inspiration inscribed on the bench contributed to the artist by members of the cultural, scientific, political, and other walks of life from all over the world.⁣
