The WNBA is coming to Toronto in 2026, per CBC Sports. Larry Tanenmbaum’s Kilmer Sports Inc. has been granted an expansion franchise with the WNBA.

This comes just one week after a he WNBA Canada Game sell-out game for for the second consecutive year. The WNBA’s exponential growth has been remarkable, adding Toronto in the fold can prove that Canada is a hot spot for talent.

The 2024 WNBA Season starts tomorrow with a doubleheader headline by Indiana fever star Caitlin Clark who will make her WNBA debut.
