Nneka Ezurike didn't set out to build an empire. She moved to Ontario for a three-month internship and quickly recognized what pharmacists could mean to a community. When the franchise owner at her location decided to move on, she saw her opening.

15 years later, she’s making sure her colleagues aren’t alone, creating the Black Pharmacy Professionals of Canada.

Black pharmacy professionals were scattered across the country, working in isolation with no national platform, no pipeline for students, no advocacy body. Ezurike and her co-founders built one.
