This project is especially meaningful because designing for your own family brings not only excitement and great sentiment but also a heightened sense of responsibility and a drive for perfection.

The renovation involved many tasks, including completely gutting the first floor of an older home, integrating a sleek contemporary kitchen, and seamlessly incorporating previously owned extravagant furniture and accessories.

When faced with such challenges, I rely on design techniques that help unify the space while staying within budget - bold paint accents, cohesive fixture finishes, and repeated geometric details. We transformed an unoriginal house into a bespoke, elegant and inviting home.

The dining room’s black ceiling is everyone’s favourite feature, which, contrary to common belief, enhances its height and adds a striking touch.
