One of the most centrally located indoor tennis locations in Manhattan is the Midtown Tennis Club, located on 8th Ave between 26th and 27th Streets. Rates range from $90 to $150 per hour. However, expect a shockingly shallow distance between the baseline and wall, and similar constraints between the doubles line and the nets.

The Brian Watkins Tennis Center at East River Park is located along the East River immediately north of the Williamsburg bridge. 12 hard courts in decent condition. Courts noisy due to traffic on FDR and Williamsburg Bridge. Closest subway is Delancey Street; it’s about a 17 minute walk from the station. More information @ 10s.nyc⠀⠀⠀
