Felt experiences

Throughout my 20s, I was really hesitant to post on Facebook. I think it was in part due to the fact that I had garnered a slew of friendships from across the globe - and that sometimes, and that each person knew a different version of me. And posting here kind of felt like I had to acknowledge all of the contradictions I'd embodied in trying to navigate the different relationships in my life.
I guess I was really worried about people hearing about what I think, and having an adverse reaction to that. In retrospect, I think it kept me from doing quite a bit of writing.
Today I'm launching my newsletter - where I start to write about, in essense, why I've felt so stifled and afriad by sharing thoughts and work online.
Welcome to my journey to explore the polarizing landscape of modern discourse.
In short - here's the kind of topics I'll be generally exploring:
- Content around experiments that attempt to shift perceptions and bridge ideological divides
- Updates on the rapidly growing live journalism and storytelling events industry
- Curious thoughts and insights derived from unexpected places (i.e. random occurrences and personal interactions, daydreaming, pop culture, and of course, my meowers 🐈⬛ 🐈)
Take your anti-polarization pill Read this if: you're in the mood for a touch of introspection.
