✨EMMETT AND MIMI (previously known as Emory & Rue)✨

Who doesn't love some great post-adoption photo updates!πŸ˜„

Happy family shots are the best!😻
Emmett and Mimi along with the brother from another mother, Max, are living their best lives together. They've even scored a totally secure balcony turned into one massive safe and secure, enclosed catio! These guys love soaking up the sunshine and visiting their garden while also hanging out with their dads.πŸ’ž

Couldn't ask for anything better than this.πŸ€—

❀️ MILLIE ❀️

A few years ago, Millie came to us as a scared, pregnant first-time mama.

Her journey into motherhood was anything but easy. She endured a difficult birth, lost one of her babies, showed little interest in caring for her two surviving kittens, and then became seriously ill with fever and infection. She also made it very clear to her foster mom, Kris, that she preferred her personal space β€” and wasn't afraid to enforce those boundaries. πŸ˜…

Millie simply wasn't ready for much interaction beyond admiring her from a distance.

πŸ’« LOOK AT HER NOW! 😍

It's safe to say that Millie is not even remotely the same cat she was when she first arrived.

Today, she's a lover, not a fighter. This beautiful girl adores snuggle time with her people, enjoys watching the world from the window, loves to play, and happily grooms and cuddles with her feline friends. She has blossomed into an absolute sweetheart. 🩷

When you catch yourself looking past that shy or frightened cat, remember that the most rewarding relationships are often built with time, patience, love, and genuine effort. Give them that chance, and one day you may find yourself sharing a bond as beautiful as this one. ❀️🐾

Millie is also working on her fitness and weight loss goals and is hoping someone might want to spoil her and her friends with an exercise cat wheel to help them stay active and healthy and toss in a bottle or back. 😸

Millie is more than ready for her forever story. She would love to be adopted with one of her friends or join a home that already has a cat-friendly feline companion.

HOLLYBERRY UPDATE

This beautiful lady's neck is healing quite nicely! Her medication is working well. She's even got on a pretty stylish and soft neck gator to help prevent further scratching - thanks to her foster mom and some old socks.πŸ˜„

The trigger for her starting back up with her scratching is suspected to likely be allergy related - whether from the room spray or scented candle used to mask her stinky poops, less possibly, food, as we introduced a new food (tho she's never shown issue with food before) or possibly just seasonal allergies. Once she started scratching, it just became habitual once again. This was the worst damage done to her neck, so we're relieved treatment is still working for her and working very well.

Hollyberry, upon recheck, also showed signs of arthritic pain and discomfort despite reports of her moving around quite well at home. She started back on some Onsior which had been stopped for a little while due to a pancreatitis flare and some ongoing soft stools. We also added some forti flora into her diet as her poops have been described as quite stinky. This seems to be doing the trick and fixing the stink.🌹

Overall, our lovely Hollyberry is doing well.❀️
