One of our favourite core exercises involves maintaining a plank position through a back-and-forth movement. It’s called a body saw, which seems straightforward to say. But the only way to know to know its true pronunciation is by doing it.

Consistency is as close to one ring to rule them all as it gets. High levels of intensity and advanced protocols all fall flat when not executed consistently. Your first job is to get it done. Only then does adding any other detail add value. Charging hard every single time is a movie version of discipline. For us, the true discipline to modify things in a way to show up – day after day, week after week, month after month. And sometimes that style of discipline is softer, more yielding, or more creative than people expect. But that style of discipline creates a platform where hard work makes sense.
