Throbbing Rose

On Thursday, June 18 from 7 to 10 p.m., Nuit Rose: Rewilding launches at Youngplace Art Centre with The Wilding West.

The Wilding West brings together Canadian and international q***r artists selected from the Call for Submissions and members of the Throbbing Rose Collective.

Evan Tapper’s Trillium Drift invites participants to fill the walls with drawings of trilliums and hot tub threesomes. The work rewilds a provincial symbol of Ontario through q***r play, collaboration, and very cheeky botanical drift.

Troy Brooks is a Canadian painter. His art is narrative film noir style portraits of elongated female protagonists which are part of the contemporary Pop Surrealism scene.
