285 brother, Justin Costa took FIRST in Sheet Metal at the 50th Annual Canadian Sheet Metal Workers & Roofers Conference, representing SMART Local 285 against the best apprentices in the country.

Skill, pride, and a lot of hard work goes into competing. We are very proud of both Justin and our SMWIA Local 285 Training Centre for all the work put in!

Congratulations, brother Costa. You did the local proud, and you earned every bit of it!

Local 285’s 1st Annual Family Picnic and Show and Shine is Sunday, August 23 at Boyd Conservation Park, 9 AM to 4 PM. Free for members and their families.

Got a ride you’re proud of? The Show and Shine runs all day. Bring your car, truck, bike, or build. Just mention it when you register so we can sort out parking.
