Great to be at Sherbourne Common this morning for the unveiling of Unfinished Arch by Rafael Lozano-Hemmer — a powerful and interactive piece whose incomplete form reflects participation and connection, inviting the public to help complete it and become part of the work itself.

It was a meaningful moment to celebrate the achievements of our waterfront partners and the collaboration behind this exciting new public art landmark. Thank you to Waterfront Toronto and Deputy Mayor Malik for helping bring something so unique, thoughtful, and engaging to life.

It’s especially meaningful to see a piece like this in our neighbourhood and to be part of a waterfront that continues to grow as a vibrant, welcoming community.

Sustainability is more than just a commitment at Redpath, it is something we put into action. This year’s Earth Day initiatives brought our team together in a big way, and the results were truly inspiring.

Over the past few weeks, our employees stepped up to make a tangible difference for our environment through participating in Earth Hour, e-waste collections, a community clean-up and a plant giveaway.

These events were a massive success thanks to the incredible enthusiasm of our team. It was wonderful to see so much engagement, reflecting exactly how much these environmental efforts mean to our community.

A huge thank you goes out to all the volunteers who brought such great energy to the plant give-away and clean-up efforts.

Toronto’s urban cabane à sucre experience is coming to Harbourfront Centre for the first time ever with a sweet weekend of winter fun and plenty of fresh maple syrup.

• Lumberjack show 🪓
• Warming station with bonfires 🔥

Our refinery and other Port businesses are as busy as ever during the winter months. While oceangoing sugar ships don't make the journey to our dock during the height of winter, our 300 employees continue to refine, package and ship your favourite Redpath Sugar products all season long.

Even in the winter, the Port of Toronto plays a vital role in keeping our essential supply chains moving.

Currently, we have three ships overwintering at our Marine Terminals:

• MV Spruceglen – loaded with raw sugar for Redpath Sugar, ensuring year-round refinery operations.
• MV Tadoussac – part of the CSL fleet, here for off-season maintenance.
• MV McKeil Spirit – supporting construction supply chains, including Heidelberg Materials.

Même en hiver, le Port de Toronto joue un rôle essentiel dans le maintien de nos chaînes d'approvisionnement essentielles.

Actuellement, trois navires passent l'hiver dans nos terminaux maritimes :
