This Christmas, I wanted to support The Denise House Women’s shelter by donating socks. I think about women in abusive relationships often and many women have no choice but to flee their homes with nothing but the clothes on their backs. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

November is Women Abuse Prevention Month. Domestic Abuse increased significantly during the pandemic with many women being trapped at home with their abusers. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The Denise House is a safe haven for women and children seeking shelter from terrifying and demeaning situations. My hope is that these socks can bring joy to these women during such a traumatic time in their lives. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
