WHAT IS A PRUDE?: Prude is a reclaimed term used by people resisting s*x-necessarism β€” our word for a s*x-necessary culture. See our pinned post β€œwhat is a prude?” for more.

WHAT IS PRUDEmag?: PRUDEmag is a zine reclaiming the term "prude" as a refusal of s*x-necessarism.

WHY PROM?: Most prom traditions heavily reinforce the s*xual status quo. Prude Prom is an opportunity to subvert, reclaim, and reimagine these traditions as ones that celebrate prudeness rather than suppress it.
