Every community fundraiser hosted in support of Brain Cancer Canada is so much more than an event. It’s an investment in progress and possibility🩶.

Starting your own fundraiser is something anyone can do. Whether your goal is to raise $1 or $10,000, every dollar matters. 100% of proceeds raised through community fundraisers go directly toward brain cancer 🧠🔬

Because of the dedication of our community, we have already reached 14% of our annual community fundraising goal 🎯.

Why does this matter?

➡️ Because progress depends on research.
➡️ Research depends on investment.
➡️ And investment depends on people like you.

Brain cancer research has remained chronically underfunded in Canada for decades, despite the devastating impact on patients, families, and communities. Brain Cancer Canada was founded in 2015 to change this.

Since inception, Brain Cancer Canada is closing the funding gap and accelerating progress against the deadliest types of brain tumours, like Glioblastoma (GBM) and DMG/DIPG.

🧠 We are the only national charity dedicated exclusively to funding both pediatric and adult brain cancer research.

🧠 We have become the largest charitable funding mechanism for brain cancer research in Canada

We are excited to see the community come together for several upcoming and returning events, including the Wong Strong, Dr. Surya & Associates Charity Fundraiser, Brain Love Run, Noah Lee's 70KM for $70K, the JP LeClerc Memorial Golf Tournament, and the Andrea Villamere Memorial Golf Tournament.

Thank you to every individual, family, school, workplace, and community group that has chosen to stand with brain cancer patients and families.

A MOTHER'S LEGACY🕊. A SON'S MISSION🎯.
On September 19, 2026, Noah Lee will run 70 kilometres from the University of Toronto to McMaster University with one goal: raising $70,000 for life-saving brain cancer research.

In partnership with RUNWAY, the Toronto-based running community, Noah's 70KM for $70K campaign will bring together runners, relay teams, and supporters to help advance the discoveries and breakthroughs that brain cancer patients and families urgently need.

Noah is running in memory of his mother, Sejin Lee, who passed away from glioblastoma (GBM) at just 40 years old after a courageous four-year battle with brain cancer.

Sadly, Sejin's story is not unique. Every day, 27 Canadians are diagnosed with a brain tumour, and 9 will learn that theirs is cancerous. For many facing the most aggressive brain cancers, survival is still measured in months, not years.

Through 70KM for $70K, Noah is turning pain into purpose, honouring his mother's memory while helping fund the discoveries, treatments, and breakthroughs that brain cancer patients and families urgently need, because brain cancer patients cannot wait.

Join us in supporting Noah's journey and helping create a future where brain cancer survival becomes the expectation, not the exception.

At Brain Cancer Canada, we believe in a future without brain cancer. But we know the only way to get there is through sustained, dedicated investment in research, the key to better treatments, improved outcomes, and ultimately, a cure.

While Brain Cancer Awareness Month may be ending, our work, and the strength of this community continues every day.

Thank you for standing with us🩶
