Meet Bailey!

Hello folks! My name is Bailey Vanduinen and I was a part of Ryepack in my 3rd year at GCM. During that school year, I was the Vice President of Marketing for the association,
creating designs for social media, web, and print applications. It was a great experience working alongside a team of like-minded students and the Canadian packaging industry. As a result, RyePack added great value to my resume and portfolio for applying for internships that following summer.

Even though I was gearing my education towards packaging in my early years, I made the shift into a creative strategy internship role for Snapchat. This solidified my interest in online applications outside of print, transforming my career into advertising in social media. I was then hired at the end of 2020, as an Account Manager for Snapchat.

Overall, one can conclude that experience in extra-curricular ventures whilst still in school will look good on your resume. This gives you the opportunity to effectively market yourself as a self-driven leader to potential employers.

I’m grateful to Ryepack for giving me the opportunity to expand my marketing experience and build my resume! Cheers!
