Color Space™ brushes are here! This is a great example of the brand striving to do more. The typical scenario would have been to “brand” a white label (off-the-shelf) brush by silk screening or laser etching the logo — not ideal but the way most do it.

The question arose where we would place the logo in-mold either emboss or de-boss. The decision finally led to re-evaluating the design of the brushes themselves. Instead of just slapping on the logo, every brush was designed to provide the best in ergonomics, something that we quickly realized was never taken to heart in this space, and these are tools that colourists use for hours at a time. Taking feedback from expert colourists at Color Space™ these brushes are all balanced with the centre of mass at just the right point on the brush, leaving the colorist able to comfortably use these all day. There is an identifiable design “swirl” that follows form and function. Each “ridge” helps to index the angle of the brush while the colour is applied to the hair, being able to control the angle precisely.

Packaging of these also took an overhaul, instead of wrapping these inside cellophane, we’ve eliminated the use of plastics and opted for selling as sets, so less packaging all together.

There’s a whole lot more about this wonderful family of products, we’re just ecstatic to have been part of helping to push this through. Initial feedback has been excellent.
