What is an RME Mentor?
The RME Mentor Team is made up of dancers who are either actively working in the professional dance industry or studying dance at an accredited dance college or conservatory. This team serves as a bridge between our faculty and students, fostering a sense of belonging and ensuring that everyone feels seen, valued, and supported. To become an RME mentor, candidates have participated in the RME program for several years, be pursuing a career in dance or intending to do so, and embody RME’s core values. Mentors are carefully chosen for their high standard of dance excellence, dedication to the RME community, and commitment to fostering a positive, healthy environment.

🚨 Special Class Drop!

✨ Introducing The Incomparable Julia D’Angelo! ✨

Your Acting for Dancers teacher and Junior Room host — with current projects streaming on Apple TV and Prime! 🎬

A proud graduate of The New School in New York City, where she majored in Acting, Julia has also spent a lifetime dancing — blending her deep understanding of movement and performance into everything she teaches.

“My goal for Acting for Dancers is to help dancers step outside their comfort zone and discover a form of expression that feels fully alive. Through playful games, imagination work, and the introduction of voice, we’ll explore what it means to move with full presence, honesty, and heart.
The Junior Room at RME is where our youngest dancers discover the joy of movement, connection, and community. We focus on strong foundations, self-expression, and creating a space where every dancer feels supported, confident, and excited to grow.” -Julia D’Angelo

💡 Fun Fact: Julia isn’t just a performer and educator — she’s also an indie recording artist! Check out her AMAZING music on Spotify!

She’s been an RME favourite for years, but it’s her Winnipeg debut! Get ready to experience Julia’s magic!
