Lately, we’ve started to experiment with a new AI tool to see how we might integrate such technology into our creative process.

Dalle 2 is an AI artwork builder that turns word searches into images, and it can generate some incredible assets once you know your way around it.

We kept things simple to start, and tried playing around with the textures of the orange dot in our logo to create some fun alternatives.

We’re discovering more and more about how to get value from these kinds of tools, but from what we’ve seen so far they have a lot to offer, and we’re enjoying exploring what they can do 🤖

A beauty brand with ambitions to become a go-to destination for beauty shopping, we've been working with Cloud B to create their brand identity. We'll soon be sharing that final branding, but for now we wanted to share one of the concepts that we didn't end up using.

From our conversations with the client, we knew that this was a brand that needed to feel inclusive, and that also needed inspire trust in the beauty knowledge and expertise of the company.

So one of the key challenges with this project was designing an identity that balanced approachability with confidence. What's more, as a company building an innovative online service, the brand needed to feel fresh and cutting edge.

With this in mind, we worked on creating identity concepts that conveyed trustworthiness, that invited people in, and that felt new and exciting.

In an industry that can sometimes feel inaccessible, we saw an opportunity to be a bit more lively and human. So both the voice and visuals of this brand concept were designed to bring a fresh take on a beauty brand, while communicating that openness and confidence.
