Everything changed when I found out I was going to have a daughter.

The ridiculous level of sexism experienced by the women at my workplace was no longer tolerable. The comments, jokes, winks, awkward unwanted shoulder touches…. all the behaviour we were forced to tolerate daily was suddenly too heavy. My facial expressions could no longer conceal my disgust. That was it for me.

I started my business when I was six months pregnant. I did it for her. That was almost ten years ago.

Today is International Women’s Day. A day to celebrate the strength of those who came before us – and to keep fighting. For them. For us. For my daughter, and for hers too.
