Family Pride is a bold celebration of love in action and a powerful commitment to showing up for 2SLGBTQI+ children, youth, and families every single day. In the face of external pressures and harmful rhetoric, we choose love and action over hate. We refuse silence. We celebrate loudly and collectively, standing firm in our promise: we won’t stop protecting, advocating, or loving.

Family Pride is about building communities where Q***r and Trans kids can thrive, where every young person has the right to grow up proud, affirmed, and safe. It’s about passing resilience from one generation to the next and uplifting family in all its beautiful forms. Parents, caregivers, siblings, friends, and chosen family stand united in the belief that belonging saves lives.

Within 2SLGBTQI+ communities, the chosen family is powerful and life-changing, reminding us that family is not only who we’re born to, but who stands beside us. Together, through inclusivity, advocacy, and unwavering love, we are creating a hopeful future where every child can flourish, and together, we won’t stop.

“TransSisters” was published by Skyclad Publishing out of Kansas City, Missouri. The periodical dealt with issues faced by tr*******al women — both personally, and in the broader context of le***an communities. It ran from 1993 onwards, and documents efforts towards trans inclusion at the Michigan Womyn’s Music Festival, conversations about surgery, and comunity events.
