The Dance ConneXion family is so proud of you!

They say it takes a village, and it truly did! This festival was just a dream a year ago, and we brought the idea back and got everything signed off and confirmed with less than a month to prepare. I couldn’t have done it without all of you.

Thank you, DJ & , for taking care of the music that kept people dancing and ensuring smooth shows and classes. It was so easy and collaborative working with you—it’s been at least 15 years, after all, that we have been working together on other projects!

To our teachers—you drew 50+ people dancing and having fun right on the street. Thank you for your energy and passion!

And to our fabulous dancers—sticky floor or not—you wowed the crowd! Thanks for making the shows work on the floor.

Volunteers, your flyers and warm smiles were so appreciated by people new to Dance ConneXion and dance. Thank you for sharing your love and passion.

To my setup and teardown crew, I couldn’t have done it without you. Special shoutout to for transporting and storing everything before and after the event. You put your heart into this event, and I can’t thank you enough.

And to Darrick —thank you for pushing and supporting me in hosting this event at 38 weeks, doing an impromptu demo, and helping me with teardown after tirelessly working on your own restaurant’s second location grand opening. Love you tons!

People from the neighbourhood and all across town joined the festivities and loved the event. Many want it every year (some even asked if we’ll be here every week during the summer!).
