We’re honoured to have worked with Central Toronto Youth Services (CTYS) on their annual report and posters. They support some of Toronto’s most vulnerable youth, helping them build strength and resiliency.

Our goal was to create materials that reflect their empowering and respectful approach while keeping the focus on their important work.

We’re grateful to help share their story with the community.

𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗜𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀.

When used well, icons do real work.
They guide the eye. Break up dense content.
Help people grasp ideas at a glance.

You’ll find them on product pages, in apps, in presentations—anywhere clarity matters.

But good iconography doesn’t just appear.
It’s built with intention: consistent weights, simple colour, clear shapes, purposeful metaphors.

Some metaphors stick around for a reason.
Apple uses an envelope for Mail and movie camera for FaceTime.
They work because people recognize them instantly.

Sometimes you customize a stock set to match a brand.
Other times, a custom icon is the only way to express something unique.
Either way, the goal is the same—visual clarity, delivered with brand integrity.

And when one icon has to say two or three things at once, it takes creative problem-solving to combine ideas into something that still reads instantly.

A strong icon set isn’t just a finishing touch.
It makes things easier to read, faster to scan, and clearer to understand.
