Beacon Securities was thrilled to be a part of the most recent Municipal Finance Authority of British Columbia debenture issue, a $610,000,000 no-grow new 5-year bond.

On March 30, MFABC launched and priced a new 3.40% 3-Jun-2031 Sustainable Bond. The issue was very well received by investors as the final book size was over $1.6 billion with 48 buyers. As a result of the strong demand, the bonds were able to tighten 0.5bps from initial pricing thoughts to price at +27bps vs. the Canada benchmark, or +5.5bps back of the Ontario curve.
