Lately I’ve been in the midst of what feels like a shedding of skin. Or maybe just that uncomfortable moment where you’ve realized you can’t stay where you are, but you haven’t fully arrived at where you’re meant to be for the next chapter.

I always get mad philosophical in these moments, searching for meaning in every microsecond, looking for clues of what’s to come. It’s all very tense: that moment before you buss out the mf cocoon and show the world the wings you’ve been working on.

In those moments I’ve been trying to imagine what lil Jhyve would say if he saw me now. I like to think he’d be proud of where we wound up. For the most part…. Could’ve done without a few lessons haha
