Mumbleweeds

I'm currently waist-deep in framing paintings for my show this weekend at Stoney Steps Art Fest!

Most of my frames are traditional, but every once in a while I find a little gem like this one! 😍

This past Sunday, I had the pleasure of teaching my galaxy workshop ! Thanks to a former workshop participant (thanks, !), I was invited to join a group of kids and family members who have been affected by retinoblastoma. They did a wonderful job with the technique and were lovely to spend the afternoon with, alongside the super sweet interns and volunteers -- one of whom had the brilliant idea of painting an eye with the same technique, and it turned out SO nice!

Also, they let me touch some prosthetic eyes! 👀👀

Check out these flowers I got at last Sunday! It was my first market (kind of) in Ottawa. Manotick is cute. How cute? I couldn't park on one street because they were having a soap box derby!
