Toronto Fire Recruitment RESUME & COVER LETTER TIPS!

Ever wonder why you don't hear back from FD Human Resources after you have applied??

1.) YES you need a Cover Letter AND Resume in order to apply! As indicated on the TFS Website: "Cover letters and resumes must be attached to your application."

2.) TFS Website Application Stage clearly indicates: "Do not mail your cover letter or resume separately. Resumes and cover letters will not be accepted as separate documents."

3.) Toronto Fire has requested applicants to "CLEARLY LIST QUALIAFICTIONS". I am seeing resumes every day from excellent candidates but their resumes will probably be dismissed due to lack of clarity in regards to minimum requirements and/or the minimum requirements not property presented in the resume and cover letter. Review the job posting and try to hit key words.
