ANNOUNCEMENT!….Welcome to the Hunter family!….Congratulations, and a huge thank you to Mandi McCann, Service Manager of Hunter Ford in Madoc, Ontario for her trust in me. Mandi, recently decided it was time to upgrade the tire area of this dealership, more specifically the tire balancer due to inaccurate readings with her previous competitive balancer on site, and with the busy winter tire season upon us there was no better time. She purchased the Ford/ Rotunda proprietary Road Force Elite balancer complete with wheel lift. If you Google the top reasons automotive technicians leave their place of work, these two reasons will ALWAYS be near the top of any search results you will find. Admittedly we can’t help with all the reasons you will find listed, but we can most certainly take care of these two. Today we had a working lunch that included pizzas, wings, laughs and a complete refresher of this loyal Hunter customers alignment bay. You may ask “why Hunter?” or “what is the Hunter difference?”….this IS the exact definition of the Hunter difference. There was no PO’s being cut today, no sales to be had, but that didn’t matter as we were too busy supporting our customers to do the best job they can for their customers. Thank you to Matt White, Gord Wood and all the great techs at Riverside GM for a great session.

Gerry has been operating this successful shop for years now, but recently his son Chris, who was a successful technician himself in the Ottawa market, joined his Father at the family shop. Chris felt there was a few areas of the shop that needed updating and the balancer was one of those key areas for him. They recently invested in the purchase of the Smart Weight Elite balancer, complete with Hammerhead and wheel lift to go along with their already impressive list of Hunter equipment on site. With this investment they can meet their customers needs in the most accurate and efficient way possible, while using the Hammerhead and Smart Weight technology to save on shop supplies. To Chris and Gerry, I will not let you down and I want to thank you for your continued support. While they’ve only been in business for just under a year now, they recently upgraded the alignment bay of their location, and simply put now have the most advanced alignment bay on the market today. They recently purchased the Hawkeye Elite aligner, and fully integrated 18,000 Lb, harsh duty, 4-post alignment lift, complete with alignment lights. With this investment, they have the latest technology to not only diagnose your vehicle, but align it quicker and more efficiently than ever before, and also reset important safety features such as steering angle sensors which have now become mandated on many vehicles when an alignment is completed. With the 4-post lift purchase they have also now saved themesleves and their customers valuable time as this fully integrated lift works seemlessly with the aligner to complete many functions, including locking and unlocking the turn plates and slip plates when needed. There is no longer the need to be pushing and pulling pins on the turnates and slip plates during the alignment process.
