Insulating Concrete Forms (ICFs) are an innovative construction system that combines reinforced concrete with permanent rigid insulation. Interlocking modular forms are stacked like Lego® bricks and filled with concrete to create strong, durable, and energy-efficient walls.

A key advantage of ICF construction is its superior thermal performance. Thermal imaging comparisons between conventional homes and ICF-built homes show significantly less heat loss in ICF structures. In these images, purple and blue indicate little to no heat loss, while orange and yellow represent substantial heat loss.

By reducing heat transfer, ICF systems help maintain comfortable indoor temperatures, improve energy efficiency, and lower heating and cooling costs.
