ADM Access

ADM Access is currently expanding its team to ensure we can help more people be independent in their homes. We are currently looking for a dedicated, caring individual who can work with seniors and disabled in their private homes as we adapt their homes to their changing needs.
The successful candidate will:
- Be able to work on framing, drywall, taping, mudding, tiling, grouting, painting, plumbing and electrical (doesn’t have to be a specialist)
- Understands demolition and construction techniques
- General understanding in reading drawings for elevators and house plans
- Must be willing and capable of learning all of the above
- Must have excellent English oral and written communication skills
- Must have Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check (no criminal record)
- Must have own vehicle and clear Drivers’ Abstract
Please note this is a hands-on job and not a Project Management Job.
Soft skills needed:
- Patient and understanding of disabilities
- Ability to work with seniors
- Ability to communicate with family members when needed to explain processes and timelines (only if someone from the office is not available to do so)
- Excellent time management to meet deadlines and stay within budget
- Self-motivated to ensure work is being done when working independently

4 hours - 8AM - 12Noon shift.
Shift days vary from 1 day per week to 7 days per week, when family is away. Must have mental health experience. DSW will be assisting with the client on errands, ensure client is showring / bathing, wearing clean clothes, taking medications.
Must have Vulnerable Sector Police Check, Clear Driver's Record, Reliable Consistent Access to a vehicle, CPR / First Aid, all vaccinations up to date, as well as at least 3 years mental health experience in the community. Client can exhibit defiant behaviours so successful applicant must have CPI and GPA and be able to deescalate the situation to ensure client remains compliant with routines and medications.
