Michael Tearson here. This week's show is Folk Music by North Americans from the BBC Archives, a really fun show to assemble. It streams Tuesday June 2 on site at 9a/3p/9p/3a ET. Then the next 3 weeks are a trilogy of shows of Odd Beatle Covers. Usually when people have covered Beatle songs they remain pretty faithful to the original. Total reimaginations like Joe Cocker's With a Little Help from my Friends are the exceptions, not the rule--and those are far more interesting than faithful covers. Remember there's always 2 Michael Tearson shows available free and on demand. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did making them.
