Bumble has released a new community guideline – using AI to hunt down bots, spam, ghosting, and doxing – in order to provide a safer experience for its users. Do you think this is a good move to lower the frustration of using Bumble? What is your experience with the app?

Meta released their own AI model to the public called Llama 2 this July, which anyone can download, modify, and reuse, allowing people to build their own tools with Llama as their foundation. And just about today, Meta released an "Open Source" model – Liama 2 Code for all the programmers. Sounds too good to be true? Well, it does come with a catch: Liama 2 Code is not under a conventional Open Source License, which means it's not truly democratized and Open Source. If you plan to use it, make sure you take a good look at Meta's own license agreement!

Sending all the wishes and loves to all people in Kelowna, please stay safe. We are all saddened by all the news surrounding the wildfire. Thank you to all the frontline worker operating timelessly and putting themselves in danger to keep everyone else safe. We are hopeful that weather cooling down along with the possibility of rain this coming week, so the fire can be controlled and put out ASAP. We are looking forward to rebuilding the community that it once was.

Meta has released an open-source AI tool called AudioCraft, built from three models: AudioGen, EnCodec. and MusicGen. It allows users to create audio, music, and sound based on text prompts. As amazing as it sounds, some people are worried that it will violate copyright law when AI starts to "duplicate" music out there. What do you think?

LinkedIn announced an algorithm update end of June, highlighting a few changes for users. Most of these changes are in response to the overflowing of meaningless but viral posts – which has affected user experience.

2. Expert knowledge and advice will be prioritized
3. Using AI to categorize content into knowledge or advice/opinions
