Hola, my name is Katie Cortes, I thought this would be a good time to introduce myself to all my new followers.

I am a registered nurse who’s had the privilege to work with several amazing plastic surgeons and dermatologists the past 15 years. My personal challenges have taught me that skin care is not all about vanity, it's a way towards healing and enjoying the skin you live in.

 As a teenager I dealt with acne and skin problems for several years, thankfully through a dermatologist my skin got better. However, once I became a mother my skin was not the same. I struggled with this and wanted to improve the look and health of my skin but I didn’t know where to start. So after many years I decided to educate myself on evidence based treatments. This led me to explore the aesthetic field 5 years ago and so I started with laser and other skin treatments. Amazed by the results I wanted to learn more and help others regain their confidence.  

I learned from the best surgeons to always listen, educate and include our patients' voices in how we serve them. I am honored to be included in others' skin health journey and hope to help others improve their skin health and feel confident in their imperfect skin.
