This video documents the experience of photographing ospreys in Abbotsford. Bird photography usually requires keeping a distance and using heavy super-telephoto lenses, with beginners benefiting from a monopod. In post-processing, adjustments include cropping, straightening horizons, enhancing dehaze and shadows, reducing highlights, and refining sharpness and saturation. Ospreys are active from May to September, and sightings become rare afterward. Although it took hours of waiting and multiple visits, finally capturing the birds felt rewarding.
