Capture, enhance, and upload documents directly to the cloud, ensuring no data passes through your server.
This tutorial demonstrates how to create a browser-based document scanner that captures images from a we**am or TWAIN scanner and uploads results directly to Google Drive using Dynamsoft Document Viewer and TypeScript.
See how it’s built:

Where does your current capture workflow store files?
Scanning 100+ barcodes at once is a different problem than scanning one.
Dynamsoft Batch Barcode Scanner 3.0 includes three capture modes for high-density workflows: Panorama Mode for stitched multi-frame scans, AR Camera Mode for spatial barcode tracking, and Native Camera Mode for precise camera control.
Cross-validation helps catch questionable reads, while missed barcodes can be rescanned and added to the same panoramic view.

Paper documents still enter many Windows workflows through scanners. Most sample apps stop at acquisition. This one connects scanning to a complete local OCR pipeline.
We built a Windows desktop app with PySide6, Dynamic Web TWAIN Service, and PP-DocLayoutV3 that scans documents, analyzes page layout, and compares three OCR backends side by side, all without sending data to a server.
PP-DocLayoutV3 detects regions such as text, tables, formulas, and images before OCR runs. You can then process those regions with OneOCR, PaddleOCR, or Ollama (GLM-OCR). Region-level lazy OCR lets you recognize a single detected block without reprocessing the entire page.
