📣 July Programming Update – Collingwood Neighbourhood House Indigenous Programs

Sorry for the delayed post — we were finalizing a few important updates for the month ahead!

Here’s what’s happening in July:

✨ New Change: Amlatsi Family Drop-In
Now happening every Monday | 5:00–8:00pm | Program Room
Open space for families to connect, participate, and engage together.

🗓️ Planning Committee Meetings
Now being held virtually — please check our WhatsApp chat for the meeting link and updates.

🏃🏽‍♀️ Family Fitness (Thursdays)
Now running every other Thursday
Family programming reminder: all children under 13 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

🌿 Youth Drop-In
Continues weekly as scheduled — come by, connect, and take part in programming. This is a youth-led program, if you have any ideas, please let Kate know!!

🛶 Saturday Paddle Practices
Every Saturday
These sessions are helping us prepare for Canoe Journey — consistent attendance is important as we build skills together.

⚠️ Canoe Journey Participation Reminder
If you are interested in taking part in Pulling Together Canoe Journey 2026, participation in 1–2 programs per week plus Paddle Practices is required. This year is in partnership with VACPC.
If you can’t make a session, please connect with Eileen, Kate, or Reg.

🌿 May Indigenous Programming Calendar – Collingwood Neighbourhood House (CNH) 🌿

We’re excited to share our May Indigenous Programming, created in partnership with the VACPC Youth Coordinator! Join us for a month of culture, connection, wellness, and community for youth and families.

From hands-on activities to gathering spaces, there’s something for everyone to learn, share, and grow together 💛

✨ Highlights include:
• Family Fitness
• Cultural activities & teachings
• Youth-focused programming
• Community connection opportunities

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Please note:
Family Fitness is open to families. Children under 13 must be accompanied by a responsible adult during programming.
Activities may change at any time—please keep an eye out for updates!
