Fire Rescue International Training Association

Last night, our team was invited to a light dinner and a chance to meet the members of Associácion Femenina de Apoya al Cuerpo General de Bomberos de Cusco (Women’s Support Association for the Cusco Fire Department.

This team of dedicated women leaders in the community raise funds to support fire department initiatives in the city and area.

We are grateful to have their support with our deployment in Pisac and they have been taking care of our logistical needs while we are in Cusco.

TRAINING IS VERY IMPORTANT, they need to be permanently updated so we are sure that your transmission of knowledge will be very useful.

POSTING: Panama Deployment March or April 2025

FRITA has a unique opportunity to deliver First Responder training to a civilian homeowners association group in an community in Panama that does not have emergency medical services available at this time. The focus will be on pre-hospital care.

Interested members would coordinate and deliver curriculum with FRITA member, and National Training Coordinator, Operations Lieutenant Cristian Toribio. Cristian is a 20 year+ member of the Panama Fire Service. He is a very active member of FRITA and has been a very valuable liaison/advocate for our work in Panama.

DETAILS

Up to four (4) instructors required.

Target date: March or April (depending on interest and availability)

In country transportation, accommodation and meals provided.

FRITA members are volunteers and are responsible for paying, and arranging, for their own air flights. Should members wish to stay in Panama longer, they would be responsible for their own accommodations/costs. FRITA can offer assistance with planning and logistics.
