Our final cast member is Makenna Scout Davies, playing the role of Faith's daughter.
👩👧
Makenna is a super energetic, strong and confident 10 year old girl. She doesn't just walk places she is always dancing and creating as she goes along ...
She plays the piano and is a passionate dancer with a Ballet, Acro and Lyrical background. Since the age of five, she has been involved in numerous stage performances with Fabulous Feet and Show Stoppers. She has sung in the school choir and has taken part in the Vancouver Opera house workshops for kids.
She does modelling and is now embracing the film industry with her acting skills doing commercials, television and movies.
Currently in grade five French Immersion, she enjoys competing in 5 km Marathon races. Her annual "Run for Water" raising money to build water wells in Africa, is the most meaningful and she looks forward to doing it each year.
She has been in Okinawan Traditional Martial Arts for over five years, where she has obtained her green belt. Achieving great discipline and patience, she is often being asked to teach the Little Dragons class.
She is young but full of ambition and intensity that we know nothing will stop her from shining.

Born in Calgary, Alberta Anna graduated from the School for the Contemporary Arts at Simon Fraser University with a BFA in Dance. Growing up, she trained in multiple styles at an extensive arts program in her high school and for 10 years as a competitive dancer in jazz, ballet, tap, lyrical, pointe and hip hop. She is the Development and Membership Assistant at The Dance Centre and assistant to Ralph Escamillan, a Vancouver contemporary and vogueing artist.
She is a dance teacher at iDance Studios, Roundhouse Community Centre, Jewish Community Centre, UBC Dance Horizons, Baza Dance Studios and Wesbrook Community Centre.
Her performance repertoire includes working with Crystal Pite, Gioconda Barbuto, Rob Kitsos, Gail Lotenberg, Amber Funk Barton, and most recently as Baroque dancer with Catherine Lee of the Historical Performance Ensemble. Here is the lovely Jennifer Aoki playing one of Faith's friends and rehearsing as Faith's understudy
💃🏻
Jennifer Aoki is a choreographer, dancer, and educator who was born and raised in North Vancouver, Canada. She received her dance training at Simon Fraser University, Edam Dance (recipient of Contact Improvisation Scholarship in 2011), as well as abroad in Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, and Austria. Jennifer's work has been presented both in Canada and Europe. Highlights include Viewer Discretion, a dark, politically charged ensemble piece at the 2017 Calgary Fringe Festival, and The Conspiracy of Endings, a deeply personal solo at the 2013 Nah Dran in Berlin.
In 2010, Aoki co-founded Triadic Dance Works, with whom she presented the full-length work Ceremonial Sketches (2012), curated the mixed program Dime A Dozen (2013), and performed in various venues in the Lower Mainland and Seattle. Jennifer's interest in collaboration has led her to work with composer/musicians Elliot Vaughan, Jakob Liljenwall, and Zane Barratt, as well as lighting designer Jonathan Kim.
Jennifer has had the privilege of interpreting works by choreographers Jacinte Armstrong, Barbara Lindenberg, Patricia Allison, Meredith Kalaman, Carolyn Schmidt, Jamee Valin, Anna Kraulis, Natalie Gan, Kat Single-Dain, Jenn Edwards and Body Narratives Collective. She is thrilled to be part of the cast of Seasons: A Magical Musical.

This talented little girl is playing the role of young "Faith" in SEASONS: A Magical Musical
Addison is delighted to be portraying Young Faith in Seasons, her first stage production. The opportunity to dance, sing and act in a single performance has been thrilling. In addition to dancing at Kids in Motion, Addison enjoys reading, painting and cuddling her guinea pigs, Haysle and Moo Moo.
Thank you to everyone connected to Seasons for your belief in me, Ms. Sarina and Ms. Jessica for your guidance and encouragement, my Motion Dance Co. friends for the fun and laughter, and my family for your love and support.
