The design for the transition space at the Gordon Ramsay Steak Vancouver restaurant emerged as a response to the interesting constraints of the existing structure. The low ceiling over this long stretch of corridor between dining experiences felt compressed, so we applied a mirrored finish above for visual expansion and a fun Instagrammable moment. Reflective finishes on the perimeter wine coolers add function, and a glowing artistic feature of Gordon Ramsay himself pull guests from one end of the hallway into the next dining space.
